Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for an inpatient/swing/SNF travel assignment in California, requiring 1+ year of experience across acute, swing bed, and/or skilled nursing settings.

Details

• Work setting includes inpatient, swing bed, and SNF, with potential to cover at the hospital as needed
• Day shift schedule
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy required
• Current California Physical Therapy License required (license required if applicable)
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
• Must have passed the National Physical Therapist Examination (NPTE)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in acute, swing bed/SNF, and/or outpatient settings
• Strong interpersonal communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to write timely, accurate clinical reports and correspondence at a professional level
• Proficient computer and software skills

• This is a Rapid Response/Crisis position, indicating an urgent need for placement
• RTO is not approved unless noted in the offer at time of acceptance
• Responsibilities include patient evaluation, treatment, and documentation across inpatient, swing bed, and SNF settings
• Must remain compliant with California state regulatory requirements
• Must demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and a drive to continually learn new techniques
