Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 5+ years of experience and strong independent practice skills for a 13-week night shift contract in a multi-population setting including Adult, Pediatric, ER, and Neonatal patients.

Details

• Respiratory Therapy department serving Adult, Pediatric, ER, and Neonatal patient populations
• Performs procedures including ABGs, bronchoscopies, and ventilator management
• Equipment used includes Hamilton C1 ventilators, V60 BiPAP, Airvo 3 High Flow, and Nova ABG machine
• 12-hour night shifts, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Varied days including weekends

Requirements

• Current RRT credential required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 5 years of experience required
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• Experience with Adult and Pediatric ER populations, including Neonates, required and must be documented in work history
• Independent intubation skills required and must be documented in work history
• Strong, independent clinical practice skills required
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional references dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Skills checklist dated within the last 12 months required for consideration

Additional Information

• Manage ventilators, perform bronchoscopies, obtain and analyze ABGs across all age groups
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront prior to submission
