American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for an outpatient/inpatient PT role at a rural hospital in Cheraw, SC requiring an active SC license and AHA BLS certification.

Details

• Outpatient and inpatient physical therapy setting within a rural hospital
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:45 PM and Friday 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• Active South Carolina PT license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification (AHA only) required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients across inpatient and outpatient settings, utilizing specialized testing procedures to assess strength, ROM, coordination, sensation, ambulation, transfers, and bed mobility
• Develops individualized plans of care aligned with short- and long-term goals based on evaluation findings
• Collaborates with PTAs on a regular basis to discuss patient progress and establish treatment goals
• Performs and documents evidence-based care in accordance with APTA standards
• Participates in department meetings, educational sessions, and scheduling adjustments as needed
• Expected to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to facility policies and Service Excellence standards
