Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a minimum of 18 months of ICU experience for a night shift position at an academic health system in Indiana, with floating between multiple hospital campuses.

Details

• Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Float between multiple affiliated hospital campuses within the health system
• ICU patient population
• Cerner EMR charting required

Requirements

• Active Indiana (IN) or Compact respiratory therapy license required if applicable
• National Board for Respiratory Care RRT credential required
• Current ACLS and BLS (AHA or RQI accepted) certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of experience required, with 2 years preferred; 18 months must be recent ICU experience
• Education must be accredited through CoARC and regionally accredited through CHEA (ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation)
• Cerner EMR experience required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Local candidates are not accepted for this position
• Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved
• Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Former permanent or PRN employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
• This is an Allied position; Indiana Allied travelers are permitted to work at this facility
