Description

American Traveler is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) for an Acute Rehab Unit (ARU) at a Level III trauma facility, working day shifts with rotating weekend coverage.

Details

• Acute Rehab Unit (ARU) in a Level III trauma facility with 10 beds
• Patient population is exclusively adult and geriatric
• Wide variety of diagnoses and treatment cases
• Day shift schedule with rotating weekend coverage
• No on-call requirements
• Floating to inpatient settings is a possibility
• Uses Cerner and NetHealth for documentation and charting

Requirements

• Current active PTA/LPTA license required (license required if applicable)
• PTA certification required
• RQI certifications are not accepted
• Education per licensure requirements
• Strong time management skills and flexibility required
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Candidate must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidate cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• Candidate must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
