Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for an inpatient position at a Level III Trauma facility serving a primarily adult and geriatric patient population.

Details

• Inpatient setting at a 100-bed Level III Trauma facility
• Day shift with rotating weekend coverage
• 32 hours per week
• Primarily adult and geriatric patient population with a wide variety of diagnoses
• Float requirement to the ARU (Acute Rehabilitation Unit)
• No on-call requirements
• Charting done in Cerner

Requirements

• Active OT or COTA license required (license required if applicable)
• BLS certification required; RQI certifications are not accepted
• Strong time management, flexibility, and teamwork skills
• Must not reside within 60 miles of the facility to qualify for travel pay
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Cannot be currently employed full-time elsewhere

• Treat a wide variety of diagnoses across an adult and geriatric inpatient population
• Ideal candidate is adaptable and willing to learn
• Any color scrubs or business casual attire (slacks and polo) are acceptable; t-shirts and sweatshirts are not permitted
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
