American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with a minimum of 1 year of acute care bedside experience for a rehab position supporting Med/Surg and critical care units in Staten Island, NY.

Details

• Works across general Med/Surg and all critical care units in an acute care hospital setting
• Adult patient population only
• Patient load of 8–10 patients per day
• Shift hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Requirements

• Active NYS Physical Therapy license required; license application receipt acceptable if license is pending
• Minimum 1 year of acute care bedside physical therapy experience required
• Only AHA-issued BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are accepted
• Two professional references rated 'standard or above average' from a manager or above within the prior year in the current discipline are required for consideration

Additional Information

• Gray scrubs required
• Local candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but may be considered at a reduced rate
• Travelers who have previously worked at any Northwell or Nuvance Health location may be subject to a review process to determine eligibility to return
• Timekeeping is managed through Kronos
