Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week day/night alternating contract requiring at least 1 year of experience across ER, floor, and ICU settings.

Details

• Work in a hospital setting covering the Emergency Room, general floors, and ICU
• Serves a wide variety of patient populations
• Alternating day and night shifts on a 3x12-hour schedule
• Day shift hours: 7:00–19:30; Night shift hours: 19:00–7:30
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Current RRT credential required
• Active certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and CRTT
• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
• Broad clinical skill set across ER, floor, and ICU environments required
• Prior travel assignment experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Candidate's primary residence must be more than 25 miles from the facility
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple care settings including the ER, general floors, and ICU
• Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) skills are a plus
• All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
