American Traveler is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with 2+ years of experience for a NICU night shift position at a hospital in New Orleans, LA.

Details

• 16-bed NICU setting
• Night shift hours: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• CRT required (RRT also acceptable)
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NRP — all must be AHA-issued
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services to critically ill neonatal patients in a NICU
• Upon accepting an assignment, the unit manager may designate travelers to an Emergency Team with an expectation to remain at or return to the facility during an emergency event
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
• All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
