American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience for a 13-week assignment at a hospital OT department in Georgia.

Details

• 8-hour day shift, scheduled 8:30am–4:30pm
• 5 shifts per week
• 13-week contract
• Acute care OT department supporting patients from physician orders throughout the hospital
• Patient population includes ICU, stroke/neurological, orthopedic, and general debility cases
• EMR: Cerner (OneChart)
• 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period required
• Holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active Georgia OT license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of OT experience in acute care
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Driver's License required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Provides occupational therapy services across a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses throughout an acute care hospital setting
• Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break before being eligible
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests after an offer has been made are not accepted
• Cerner (OneChart) EMR experience is utilized in this role
