Description

American Traveler is seeking a PTA with outpatient clinic experience and an active or pending Illinois license for a 13-week outpatient assignment at a Critical Access facility.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting at a 25-bed Critical Access facility
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:00–16:30), no weekends required
• Caseload of approximately 9 patient visits per day
• No on-call or floating requirements
• Charting is completed using Cerner
• Local candidates are welcome with no radius restriction

Requirements

• Active or pending Illinois PTA license required; license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a PTA
• Outpatient clinic experience required
• Experience taking vital signs required
• Proficiency in assessment, discharge documentation, short-term goal setting, and time management
• Skills in home exercise program development, lifting and transfer techniques, and recognizing signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse
