American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 3+ years of adult care experience for a night shift travel assignment at an acute care hospital in Fort Smith, AR.

Details

• Inpatient respiratory therapy department at an approximately 300-bed acute care hospital
• Night shift hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week with every other weekend required
• No call required
• No floating required
• Equipment includes Bella Vista Ventilator/Non-invasive, PB 840 Ventilator, Respironics V-60 and Vision, and Airvo High Flow O2
• EMR: Epic
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• RRT credential required; must be a graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care with an Associate degree
• Active Arkansas state license required if applicable
• BLS and CPR certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of adult respiratory care experience
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment unless documented renewal is scheduled
• No employment gaps of 90 or more days within the past 12 months
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred

Additional Information

• Black scrubs required
• Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate
• Candidates living within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts at this facility; after that, a minimum 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the 50-mile radius is required
