Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with pediatric experience for a night shift travel assignment at a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center children's hospital.

Details

• Children's hospital setting at a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
• Pediatric respiratory therapy unit
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
• Weekend coverage required as needed
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RRT credential required; CRT not accepted
• Active TN license required (no pending licensure); license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy; 3+ years preferred
• Pediatric experience required
• At least one completed prior travel assignment required; first-time travelers are not eligible
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; RTO requests submitted after an offer is extended will not be forwarded for approval
• If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all fall within the assignment period, travelers must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 holidays; if only 2 holidays fall within the assignment, travelers must be willing to work at least 1
• Former permanent or internal associate travelers must have been separated from the facility for a minimum of one year before returning as a traveler
