Description

American Traveler is seeking an Inpatient Rehab PT with at least 1 year of acute care experience for a 13-week travel assignment requiring Epic EMR proficiency and strong lifting and transfer skills.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, day shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM), 5x8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• Epic EMR is used; minimum 1 year of Epic experience required
• Floating to other units or campuses within the health system may be required based on census needs; float assignments will align with demonstrated competencies

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent inpatient physical therapy experience required; acute care experience required, rehabilitation hospital experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• Dry Needling and Manual Therapy certifications preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Strong lifting and transfer skills required
• Geriatrics, orthopedics, sports medicine, and wound care experience preferred
• Valid PT license required if applicable
• Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Orientation is held every Monday
• Pre-assignment modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login credentials; up to 16 hours of module time is billable
• Teal scrub color required
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the relevant flagship Prisma Health hospital (Prisma Richland or Prisma Greenville) to be eligible for this position; candidates under 50 miles are ineligible
