Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with recent ICU experience and required IN licensure for an every-weekend, day shift position.

Details

• Work in a hospital RRT unit with neuro diagnostics focus
• Day shift schedule with four 12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00), including every Saturday and Sunday plus two rotating weekdays
• Weekend work is required every weekend
• Patients are primarily ICU level, with floating required between affiliated hospitals
• Uses Cerner EMR; experience required

Requirements

• Current NBRC RRT credential
• Active IN or Compact Respiratory Therapy license required; license required if applicable
• Minimum 18 months recent ICU experience within the last 2 years
• Degree from a CoARC-accredited and CHEA/ACEN/CCNE regionally accredited program
• Current certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA or RQI accepted)
• Cerner EMR charting experience required
• First-time travelers accepted

Additional Information

• Candidates must provide confirmation they are aware of and accept the every weekend work requirement
• All travelers will float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed
• Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) can be auto-approved
• Must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Former employees must have a 12-month separation before being considered for a traveler role
