American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with pediatric experience and an active Illinois PT license for a day shift assignment using Epic EMR.

Details

• Position is in a pediatric therapy annex with a focus on orthopedic and neurologic conditions
• Day shifts, 5x8s, Monday through Friday
• Patient population primarily pediatrics, including those with functional deficits
• Typical duties include patient assessments, transfers, and application of therapeutic modalities
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Active Illinois Physical Therapist (PT) license required; license required if applicable
• Minimum one year of recent and relevant physical therapy experience preferred
• Proficiency in English required for speaking, reading, and writing
• Experience with Epic EMR required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include designing individualized plans of care, providing education to patients and caregivers, and documenting daily care
• Must demonstrate safe patient handling and effective communication skills
• Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma environment preferred
• No local candidates accepted; must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Maximum of 7 days requested time off allowed per 13-week contract
• Contingent workers may not work at the facility for more than one consecutive year without a 6-month break
• Medical scrubs are required
• No travel partners accepted
