Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with pediatric ED and PICU experience for a night shift assignment in a pediatric care setting.

Details

• Work in a pediatric respiratory care unit
• Patient population includes emergency department and pediatric ICU cases
• Uses Epic as the electronic medical record system
• 12-hour night shifts, three shifts per week
• Floating to other pediatric units as needed
• Holiday coverage is required as needed
• Scheduling managed by facility leadership

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) not accepted
• Experience in pediatric emergency department (ED) and pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Neonatal Pediatric Specialist (NPS) certification preferred
• License required if applicable
• All candidates must be nicotine free

Additional Information

• Work collaboratively with a fast-paced, team-based staff
• Adherence to the scheduled shifts is mandatory with more than three call-offs during the assignment resulting in termination
• A reference from within the last year is required for consideration
• A specialty skills checklist is required for consideration
• Holiday coverage is expected based on facility needs
