American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of ortho and rehab experience to work in an acute care setting with rotation across multiple sites.

Details

• Position is primarily based at an acute care hospital with additional coverage at related clinic locations
• Patient care includes outpatient, inpatient, and home care physical therapy, as well as PTA supervision
• Procedures include use of ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and iontophoresis equipment
• Uses Epic for electronic charting and documentation
• Typical schedule is 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with some weekends and holidays in rotation
• Minimal floating required, limited to therapy services at nearby locations
• Department includes a 15-bed hospital and a wellness center
• Training for Epic is provided as needed

Requirements

• Active MN PT license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of recent ortho and rehab physical therapy experience
• Current BLS certification required
• MN Background Study required
• Ability to perform physical therapy evaluation and treatment in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Experience with Epic or willingness to undergo training

• Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment, and supervision of physical therapy assistants
• No long-term care duties are required
• Casual dress or scrubs are acceptable, with polo options in ceil blue, khaki, gray, or chocolate brown
• Manager is available for support at all times
• May require work at multiple facilities within an 80-mile radius
• Prior employment at related health systems must be disclosed for consideration
• Some weekends and holiday coverage is required as scheduled
