Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist with at least 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency for a night shift assignment in a Level III Trauma Center.

Details

• Work in a short-term acute care, Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital
• Assignment is in the CRT unit providing care for both adults and pediatric patients, including ICU settings
• Night shift schedule with 4x12 hour shifts (18:00–06:00)
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• Floating within scope and between like units or to sister campus as needed
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active state or compact CRT license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapy experience
• Experience with both adult and pediatric patient populations in ICU required
• Epic charting system experience required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Solid black or black and white scrubs required
• Return policy: must be gone for 1 year to return as a traveler
• Travelers may only extend assignment once; after two contracts, a 6 month break is mandatory
• Maximum of 4 days of requested time off allowed, and only 1 holiday may be approved
• No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Online modules must be completed prior to start (4–10 hours)
• Team covers both adult and pediatric populations, requiring flexibility
• All callouts for scheduled shifts require a makeup shift as deemed necessary by the department
