Description

American Traveler is seeking a CCC-certified Speech-Language Pathologist with Missouri licensure and experience in LTC or SNF settings for a daytime rehab position.

Details

• Work in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts with flexible start times between 6AM and 10AM as approved by the Director of Rehab
• No weekend shifts required unless making up hours due to a holiday during the week
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active CCC-SLP certification required
• Active Missouri SLP license required; compact allowed if applicable
• At least 1 year of experience as a licensed SLP required
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility settings required
• Will consider new grads if Level II experience (not Level I observation only)
• At least one reference required for consideration
• 3 years of experience holding active CCS preferred
• All relevant licenses and certifications must be active at the time of consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Responsible for screening, evaluating, and rehabilitating patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
• Develop and update individualized plans of care using evidence-based practice and standardized assessments
• Document all services provided and maintain accurate treatment records using electronic documentation systems
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to address patient needs and progress
• Provide consultation, counseling, and discharge summaries according to regulatory and clinical standards
• Participate in required meetings, trainings, and facility-sponsored conferences
• Supervision and support of CFY or student speech-language pathologists may be required
• Follow ASHA and state-required practice acts and ethics
• No more than 5-7 days of requested time off (RTO) will be considered during contract
