American Traveler is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for adult critical care night shifts, requiring VA licensure and BLS/ACLS certification.

Details

• Position focuses on general adult care and adult critical care in a hospital setting
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 12 hours per shift
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Workload is based on RVU with approximately 580 minutes assigned out of a 720-minute shift
• May include assignments in adult ICU or general care as needed

Requirements

• Current VA Respiratory Therapist license required if applicable
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credentials accepted
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of adult critical care and ICU experience

Additional Information

• Receive one week of department orientation, followed by shadowing and training in general care
• Third week transitions to independent assignments
• No specific holiday or on-call requirements noted
• Patient assignment and workload may be higher in ICU settings
