American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience and New York State licensure to work in an acute care setting treating newborns and pediatric patients.

• Position is in an acute care hospital setting
• Shift is from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with rotating weekends
• Patient population includes newborns as early as 26 weeks gestation
• Work may involve care in the NICU for candidates with the appropriate background

Requirements

• Current NYS Physical Therapist license and registration required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Physical Therapist required
• BLS certification through AHA is required
• Experience treating newborns, including neonates born as early as 26 weeks, is required
• NICU certification preferred
• Two professional references from managers in the past year are required

Additional Information

• Main duties include evaluation and treatment of neonatal and pediatric patients
• Candidates with experience and certification in NICU will be prioritized for neonatal assignments
• Compliance with hospital modules and orientation is required before assignment
• Local candidates within 60 miles are eligible to apply at a reduced rate
• Renewal receipts and scheduled course dates are accepted for expiring licenses or certifications
