Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (RT/CRT) with at least two years of experience and an active Iowa license for contract opportunities.

Details

• Work in a clinical respiratory therapy setting
• Patient caseload and unit details will be provided at assignment
• Epic EMR is used
• Requires flexibility to work holidays as needed
• Orientation begins every Monday

Requirements

• Current IA Respiratory Therapist license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of previous experience in respiratory therapy required
• At least one completed travel contract preferred
• Active certifications relevant to the position required at time of consideration
• Driver's License required
• Supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment required
• Resume and completed skills checklist (within the last year) required
• License verification and copies of current certifications required

Additional Information

• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Must have a taxable address outside 50 miles from the facility; local candidates may be accepted with a pay adjustment per facility rules
• Candidates must be able to provide documentation to verify permanent address if requested
• Travelers are expected to work 2 out of 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day)
• Limit of 1 requested day off between 11/26–11/30 and 12/23–1/2 for all travelers
• Candidates employed by the facility within the previous 12 months may not be eligible
