American Traveler is hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for night shifts, requiring 2 years of recent experience and active certifications.

Details

• Work in a hospital respiratory services unit
• Shift hours are 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week travel contract assignment
• Care for a diverse patient population under respiratory therapy care

Requirements

• Active RRT license and certification required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in respiratory therapy, with at least 6 months within the last 6 months
• Current AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications required (certs must not expire within first 30 days of assignment)
• Current NRP certification required if caring for neonates
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration; Canadian SSNs are not accepted
• Professional references required: two for candidates from Florida or Missouri, one for other states
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Night shift position in a high-acuity hospital environment
• 50 mile radius rule in effect; local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible
• Documentation required includes application, skills checklist, references, license verification, and copies of relevant certifications
• All certifications must be from organizations accepted by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Assignment is part of a collaborative hospital respiratory care team
