American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with a current or eligible CA license for an outpatient rehabilitation clinic role on day shift.

Details

• Position is in an outpatient/rehabilitation clinic setting
• Day shift schedule
• Patient population includes individuals requiring mobility, function, and strength rehabilitation
• Physical therapist will supervise PT Assistants and Aides regarding patient care
• No travel is required for this position
• Utilizes Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system for patient documentation

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy is required
• Must hold an active Physical Therapist license in California or have plans to test for licensure in the near future (license required if applicable)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist required
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds and assist patients with mobility needs
• Proficiency with computer skills including Word, Internet, and EMR

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients, implementing rehabilitation programs, and updating patient records
• Required to supervise PT Assistants and Aides in all aspects of patient care
• Must be familiar with PT billing, Medicare, work-comp, private, auto, liens, cash pay, and DX/ICD-10 coding
• Expected to adhere to HIPAA and OSHA regulations, and maintain patient privacy
• Active participation in privacy training and company policy communication is expected
• Work requires frequent walking, standing, sitting, bending, and moving throughout the day
