Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with 1+ year of experience and a valid LA license for a day shift hospital assignment.

Details

• Work in a hospital CRT and neuro diagnostics unit
• Care for patients using specialized equipment including Puritan Bennett 840/980 ventilators, Phillips V60 BiPAP, and transport vents such as Pneutron, Newport, and Parapac
• Perform procedures using nitric oxide therapy, ECMO, and bedside bronchoscopies
• 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 to 19:00
• Work every other weekend and provide holiday coverage
• No floating or on-call duties
• Epic EMR experience is preferred

Requirements

• Current Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required
• Valid LA respiratory therapy license required at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Experience with specialized respiratory therapy equipment listed
• Epic experience preferred

Additional Information

• Must wear gray scrubs while on duty
• Strict 5-day maximum for requested time off (RTO)
• Applicants must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel status
• Former permanent employees must have at least a 1-year separation before eligible for travel assignments
• Pre-start modules (2-4 hours for allied health) must be completed before start date
