Description

American Traveler is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) with an active license and BLS certification for a mixed inpatient and outpatient role.

Details

• Work setting includes 60-70% outpatient, 30-40% inpatient, swing bed, and home health cases
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Patients include those receiving rehabilitation therapy in a hospital, outpatient, and home health environments

Requirements

• Current and active Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• CPR certification required
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Proficient computer knowledge and skills
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include delivering physical therapy interventions as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist
• Role requires collaboration within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team
• Home health assignments may require travel to patient residences
