Description

American Traveler is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of experience for an outpatient setting with some skilled nursing and long-term care responsibilities.

Details

• Primarily outpatient rehabilitation therapy with approximately 85% outpatient and 20% long-term care and skilled swing cases
• Patients require a range of physical therapy services and individualized treatment planning
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 13-week contract with potential for extension

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' recent physical therapy experience
• Active state license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications preferred or required as applicable
• Rehabilitation certifications such as ASHA, CHT, or ACP Training preferred or required as applicable
• Ability to treat a variety of patient needs across different care settings
• Must be willing to adapt and participate in a collaborative and communicative team environment

• Primary responsibilities include assessment, individualized treatment, planning, implementation, and patient education to maximize functional progress
• Role requires frequent communication with healthcare team members and ancillary staff
