Description

American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of recent experience, Oasis and HCHB familiarity, and the flexibility to cover a broad territory.

Details

• Home health setting covering a territory up to 60 miles from the main office
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour days from 8:00 to 17:30
• Typical caseload of 5-7 geriatric patients per day with 6 visits daily and a minimum of 30 points weekly for productivity
• On-call required every 3rd to 4th weekend
• Use of HCHB EMR system required
• iPad provided for documentation
• Mileage reimbursement at the IRS standard rate

Requirements

• Current Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of recent home health OT experience
• OASIS experience required
• Experience with HCHB EMR required
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to cover the specified territory and adapt to schedule needs

Additional Information

• Care primarily provided to geriatric patients in their homes
• Timely documentation and effective communication required
• Scrubs of any color required; jeans are not permitted
• Local candidates are accepted and eligible for travel rate
• First-time travelers are welcome
• Flexibility with territory assignments is necessary
