Description

American Traveler is seeking an RRT with recent Level 4 NICU experience and current BLS and PALS certifications for a night shift assignment.

Details

• Work in a children's hospital Level 4 NICU environment
• Night shifts are available with options for 36 or 48 hours per week
• Schedule includes every other weekend and every other holiday
• Unit uses a self-scheduling model to accommodate shift preferences
• Epic EMR experience is required
• Cardiac PICU experience is preferred

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification is required
• BLS and PALS certifications are required
• Recent experience in Level 4 NICU is required
• ACCS certification is preferred
• Must have or be eligible to obtain a VA license prior to start; temporary license may be granted with another state license
• Two professional references are required for job consideration

Additional Information

• Will provide respiratory care to critically ill neonatal and pediatric populations
• Float assignments may be made according to clinical experience
• 12 months must pass before returning as a traveler
• No radius rule applies to this assignment
• Must be able to provide a copy of certifications, driver’s license, and social security card upon request
