American Traveler is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with newborn experience and current NYS DOH license for a night shift hospital assignment.

Details

• Work in an 83-bed hospital setting
• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Responsibilities include caring for newborn patients and covering a variety of respiratory therapy needs
• Expect to work independently with on-call backup available

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Current NYS Department of Health license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum of 3 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Experience providing care to newborn patients required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NRP and PALS certifications preferred (AHA only)
• Two recent professional references from previous managers required

Additional Information

• Must be able to independently manage respiratory care for newborn patients
• Local candidates within 60 miles considered at a reduced rate
• Previous employees may require a review for rehire eligibility
• Completion of iLearn modules required prior to start
• Renewal receipts or scheduled renewal dates must be provided if certifications are expiring during the assignment
