American Traveler is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RT/RRT) for a night shift role requiring strong critical care and NICU skills in a regional float capacity.

Details

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am
• Work primarily with adult and NICU patient populations
• Serve in a regional float role across multiple facilities within Region 2 as needed
• No on-call requirement
• Every other weekend required
• 75% of holidays must be worked
• Average of 300+ patients per day
• Utilizes EPIC EMR system
• Equipment includes Servo ventilators (I, U, Airs), Trilogy, ResMed AirCurve, HiFlow, Airvo, NOXbox, and bubble cpap

Requirements

• Current RRT or CRT credential
• North Carolina licensure required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Strong skills in critical care, CVICU, NICU, ED, progressive care, and general floor therapies
• Previous travel experience not required—first-time travelers welcome
• Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from home unit

• Must be agreeable to floating to any assigned facility within the designated region, including freestanding EDs and central division hospitals
• Two-day departmental orientation provided in addition to facility onboarding
