Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) with at least 2 years of experience for a night shift role covering adult and NICU patients with floating across multiple regional facilities.

Details

• Work in an acute care hospital setting with adult and NICU patient populations
• Shift is 12-hour nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend rotation is every other weekend
• 75% holiday coverage required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float required to multiple facilities within the assigned region per staffing needs and within scope of practice
• Utilizes EMR: Epic
• Specialized equipment includes Servo ventilators, Trilogy, ResMed AirCurve, HiFlow, Airvo, NOXbox, and bubble CPAP

Requirements

• Current NC Respiratory Therapist license required if applicable
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapy experience
• Critical care, CVICU, NICU, ED, and progressive care experience required
• Experience with all floor respiratory therapies required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Must live at least 50 miles from the home unit per radius rule
• First-time travelers will be considered
