Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of pediatric outpatient experience for a 12-week contract.

Details

• Outpatient pediatric clinic setting
• Work within a multidisciplinary rehab team
• Average daily caseload of 6-7 pediatric patients
• Preferred schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, but open to 5 days per week if needed
• Expected to bill 25 hours per week, scheduled at 29 hours per week
• Uses Cerner for documentation
• Access to equipment such as parallel bars, LiteGait, and FES

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent pediatric physical therapy experience required
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Main responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of pediatric patients in an outpatient setting
• Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary rehab team
• Dress code allows any color of scrubs
• Role is based at a teaching hospital
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Local candidates accepted
• Maximum of 6 days requested time off; a full week off requires an additional week extension to the contract
