American Traveler seeks an SLP with CCC-SLP and BLS certifications for an outpatient role serving both pediatric and adult populations.

Details

• Primarily outpatient setting with occasional inpatient responsibilities
• Serves both adult and pediatric patients in inpatient, outpatient, and modified environments
• Day shift schedule with options for 4x10 or 5x8 hour shifts, Monday through Thursday
• No weekends, call, or floating required
• Occasional travel required to an off-site facility
• CPSI charting experience preferred

Requirements

• Current CCC-SLP certification required
• BLS certification required
• State SLP license required; pending license may be considered but must be in hand by orientation
• Proven clinical skills in pediatric outpatient care, autism, developmental delays, fluency, language disorders, and assessment
• Ability to perform SLP evaluation coding and develop plans of care
• Experience in patient/family education and recognizing signs of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse

• Role involves assessment, plan of care, reassessments, evaluation, discharge planning, and education
• Caseload includes Medicaid patients and diverse communication and developmental disorders
• RTO (requested time off) must be submitted with application
• Restrictions apply for time off around major holidays
• No modules required for onboarding
• Candidate will occasionally travel to an affiliated off-site location
