Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) with at least 2 years' experience to work day shifts with regional floating in a hospital setting.

Details

• Hospital setting with 337 licensed beds
• 12-hour day shifts from 0700 to 1900, 36 hours per week
• Care provided for adult and NICU patients (no pediatric cases)
• Average daily census of over 300 patients
• Region-based floating required across Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division, and freestanding EDs within the region
• Weekend rotation required every other weekend
• Holiday coverage required for 75% of holidays
• No call or call back required
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Utilizes Servo ventilators (I, U, Airs), Trilogy, ResMed AirCurve, HiFlow, Airvo, NOXbox, and bubble CPAP equipment

Requirements

• Current NC Respiratory Therapist license required if applicable
• CRT or RRT credential required
• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Experience in critical care, CVICU, NICU, ED, progressive care, and all floor therapies required
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from home unit

Additional Information

• Will float between multiple facilities in Region 2 as needed and must agree to this requirement
• Travelers paid for floating time if moved mid-shift between facilities
• Initial orientation includes general and two-day department-specific training
• Royal blue scrubs required
