American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist with at least 2 years of Level IV NICU and pediatric critical care experience for a day shift position.

Details

• Work in a specialized respiratory therapy and neuro diagnostics unit focused on neonates, infants, pediatric, adolescent, and adult populations
• Level IV NICU with high acuity and advanced respiratory support
• Utilizes high-frequency jet ventilators and oscillating ventilators
• Day shifts with 12-hour shifts from 6:15 to 19:15
• Requires 6 weekend shifts per schedule, schedules published in 6-week blocks
• Bi-weekly orientation provided
• Local candidates considered within a 75-mile radius

Requirements

• Current NC RRT license in hand required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of recent NICU, pediatric critical care, and pediatric emergency experience required
• Level IV NICU experience and proficiency with high-frequency jet ventilators required
• Experience with pediatric cardiac anomalies is required
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
• At least one supervisory reference from within the past year is required for consideration

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Flu vaccine is mandatory with no exemptions or declinations permitted
• Provide advanced respiratory support to a diverse pediatric population including critically ill neonates and infants
• Must submit full SSN and DOB for compliance processing
• A minimum lead time of 3 weeks is required before assignment start to allow for credentialing
