American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist with Level IV NICU experience and expertise in high frequency jet ventilators for a night shift pediatric role.

Details

• Work in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and pediatric respiratory therapy setting
• Care for neonates, infants, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 18:45 to 7:15
• Six weekend shifts per schedule, scheduled in six-week blocks
• No on-call required
• Must work with high frequency jet ventilators and perform oscillating ventilation
• Accepts local candidates within a 75 mile radius

Requirements

• Active North Carolina RRT license or compact license required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 years NICU and pediatric critical care experience, including emergency department experience
• Level IV NICU experience required
• Experience with high frequency jet ventilators and oscillating ventilators required
• Experience caring for pediatric cardiac anomalies required
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS
• One supervisory reference from within the last year required
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions or declinations accepted
• Full SSN and date of birth required for consideration
