Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant with at least 1 year of recent home health experience and BLS certification for a day-shift position covering the Tulsa area.

Details

• Work in a home health setting serving a geriatric patient population
• Responsible for covering a territory up to a 60-mile radius from the Tulsa hub
• Average caseload is 5-7 patients per day
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• No on-call required, but rotation may be discussed during interview
• Documentation performed using HCHB (Homecare Homebase); experience required
• iPad provided for work; mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate

Requirements

• Active PTA license required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year recent PTA experience in a home health setting
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience and proficiency with HCHB (Homecare Homebase) required
• OASIS experience required for staff completing SOC (Start of Care)
• Valid driver’s license and personal transportation required
• No first-time travelers accepted
• Former perm employees must have at least 6 months separation and HR approval

Additional Information

• Timely communication and documentation are essential to this role
• Dress code is scrubs of any color; jeans are not permitted
• Orientation occurs on Tuesdays and includes billable modules
• Travel pairs are accepted, but each traveler will have their own territory and transport
• Hospice/Home Health checklist completion is mandatory
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of application
