Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RT/RRT) with at least 1 year of experience and recent EPIC proficiency for a flexible, multi-unit hospital assignment.

Details

• Work in a hospital setting supporting multiple patient populations, including adult, nursery, and ER
• Minimum of every other weekend required, with full scheduling flexibility as assigned
• Floating between nursery and emergency room as needed
• EPIC charting system experience within the past 2 years is mandatory
• Monday through Sunday scheduling with no option for block schedules

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapist experience required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required, or demonstrated experience with neonatal/pediatric populations
• New York state license required, or proof of application with applied date for consideration
• License required if applicable
• Recent EPIC charting experience (within last 2 years) required
• Reliable personal or rental vehicle with all-season or snow tires recommended November–April

Additional Information

• Must be willing to provide support across nursery and emergency room as needed
• Bi-weekly orientation sessions held on Mondays
• Gaps in employment over 90 days must be explained
• Travelers are responsible for reliable transportation as public transit is not accessible near the facility
• Vehicle should be equipped for winter driving during colder months
• Strict documentation and application requirements are enforced by the facility
