American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for Home Health assignments in the Salem, OR area requiring at least 1 year of skilled home health experience and BCLS certification.

Details

• Work in a Home Health setting serving Salem, South Salem, West Salem, Corvallis, Albany, Sweet Home, and Lebanon areas
• Day shifts are 8 hours, 5 days per week, from approximately 8:00 to 16:30
• Typical day includes up to 6 patient visits, with a standard of 30 productivity points
• 1:1 patient ratio for care
• Documentation completed via Epic Remote Client on laptop and Rover phone app with OASIS
• No weekends, on-call, floating to like units, or block scheduling required
• All travelers should be prepared to float between all facilities within the state as operationally needed

Requirements

• Current active PTA license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of skilled home health experience
• BCLS certification required
• Epic experience required
• Completion of primary COVID vaccination series plus one booster required
• Must have own transportation for travel between patient homes
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Submission requires two supervisory references within the last three years

Additional Information

• Expect to drive up to a maximum of roughly 60 miles or 60-90 minutes per day, with mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rates
• Business casual attire or scrubs may be worn; jeans are not permitted
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Former permanent staff must wait 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot be within 50 miles of submission location
• Minimal to no RTO preferred; all time off requests must be addressed at time of submission
