Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with recent Home Health experience for a skilled nursing facility setting covering four counties, with BLS certification required.

Details

• Position is based in a skilled nursing facility/Home Health setting covering Cherokee, Spartanburg, Union, and a small part of Greenville counties
• Day shift with 4x10 hour schedule, Wednesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Minimum of 7.5 units required per day
• Clinician may be required to float within their scope as needed; mileage is paid
• Epic EMR experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active PT license required if applicable; pending state license accepted if obtained prior to start
• BLS certification required
• At least 2 years of recent PT Home Health experience preferred, but candidates with 1 year may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Must be able to travel to multiple counties as part of the job

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include providing physical therapy for patients in home health and skilled nursing settings
• Attendance policy allows for no more than two missed shifts per 13-week contract without reasonable explanation
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront; RTO requested after submission will not be considered
• Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test required at orientation; must pass to proceed
• Local candidates not accepted; must live at least 75 miles from the facility
• Mileage reimbursement is provided for necessary travel between patient locations
