Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for outpatient home health assignments with a current SC PTA license and experience in home health settings.

Details

• Work in an outpatient home health environment
• Day shifts are scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• This is a 13-week assignment
• Recent Epic EMR experience is preferred but not required
• Local candidates within a 75-mile radius are not eligible for this position

Requirements

• Current SC Physical Therapist Assistant license required if applicable; pending state license considered if obtained prior to start
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year recent Home Health experience required, 2 years preferred

Additional Information

• Pass/fail testing required at orientation, including a Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test
• Adherence to the facility's attendance policy is mandatory, with limited allowable absences per contract
• All time-off requests must be submitted before assignment begins
• Travelers must be comfortable working independently in a home health setting
