Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant with at least 1 year of home health experience for a skilled nursing facility assignment, requiring an active or pending South Carolina PTA license.

Details

• Work in a skilled nursing facility within the post-acute care setting
• Day shift Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Patient caseload consists of home health rehabilitation cases
• Epic EMR experience is preferred but not required

Requirements

• Current South Carolina PTA license required or ability to obtain prior to start
• BLS certification required
• At least 1 year of recent home health experience required, 2 years preferred
• Must pass Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test on first day of orientation
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• No local candidates accepted—must live at least 75 miles from facility
• All time-off requests must be included prior to start; requests made after hiring will not be considered
• Travelers are subject to attendance policy with limited allowable missed shifts
• Testing will be conducted during orientation with pass/fail criteria
• First-time travelers will be considered on a case-by-case basis
