Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Pediatric Occupational Therapist with at least 3 years of pediatric experience for a day shift outpatient role.

Details

• Outpatient pediatric occupational therapy setting at a critical access hospital
• Day shift, 5x8 hours per week, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals required
• Patients include diverse pediatric population
• Cerner EMR charting is used; experience is position specific

Requirements

• Current IL Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
• Minimum 3 years of pediatric occupational therapy experience required
• No first-time travelers will be considered
• Must arrive 3 business days prior to contract start if clinician does not require a state license
• Ability to float to other units or affiliated facilities
• Must provide 2 professional references from supervisors within the past 2 years
• Must provide full 7-year work history with all gaps explained

Additional Information

• Role requires active participation in patient therapy sessions and collaboration with multidisciplinary pediatric teams
• Must be prepared to complete all compliance requirements and orientation modules by end of first day
• Must work at least 2 out of 3 major holidays during assignment
• Solid color scrubs required
• Locals are accepted with no radius restrictions
• Candidates who were PERM or PRN employees must have a 12-month gap before being eligible as a traveler
