Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with at least one year of post-surgical open heart ICU experience for a CVICU night shift assignment.

Details

• Work in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) of a hospital
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts from 6:45 pm to 7:15 am
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• Every other weekend work is required
• Call is required 3 times per 6-week schedule
• Self-scheduling is available outside of weekend and call requirements

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• PALS certification desired but not required
• At least one year of post-surgical open heart ICU experience required
• Travelers must have more than one year of total experience
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• May consider first-time travelers on a case-by-case basis depending on prior experience
• Provide advanced respiratory care and monitoring in a CVICU environment
• Participate in call coverage as scheduled
• Must work every other weekend as part of the regular schedule
