American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least one year of experience and extensive wound care expertise for an adult rehab services role.

Details

• Position is based in an adult rehab services department
• Day shifts, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
• Requires care delivery in a clinical rehab setting primarily treating adults
• Extensive wound care experience is essential

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree in Physical Therapy required
• Current license from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as a Physical Therapist required if applicable
• Minimum one year of recent experience as a Physical Therapist
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required
• Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, anatomy, equipment, and computer literacy required
• Must demonstrate excellent communication and patient guidance skills

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include interpreting physician orders, evaluating patients, formulating and modifying treatment plans, and documenting outcomes
• Duties involve discharge planning and instructing patients in home programs
• May supervise and assist students depending on level of experience
• Requires maintaining and cleaning therapy equipment
• Role is under minimal supervision and expects team collaboration
• Position is not open to local candidates within a 50-mile radius
• Returning travelers are eligible for one contract extension before a mandatory six-month separation
