American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Level IV NICU experience and advanced ventilator skills for a pediatric night shift assignment.

Details

• Work in a Level IV NICU providing respiratory care for neonates, infants, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients
• Night shift position with 3x12 hour shifts, 18:45–07:15
• Requires coverage of 6 weekend shifts per six-week schedule block
• Uses high-frequency jet ventilators and oscillating ventilators
• Unit serves patients with pediatric cardiac anomalies
• EMR system type not specified
• No on-call requirements
• First-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in NICU, pediatric critical care, and pediatrics including ED
• Level IV NICU experience required
• Experience with high frequency jet ventilators and oscillating ventilators required
• Experience caring for pediatric cardiac anomalies required
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS (must be in hand for consideration)
• NC RRT license in hand required; license required if applicable
• One supervisory reference from the past year required
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions offered

Additional Information

• Provide advanced respiratory therapy in a high-acuity neonatal and pediatric critical care setting
• Orientation sessions are offered bi-weekly
• Local candidates accepted if residing within a 75-mile radius
