Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 2 years of experience for a night shift position requiring Epic proficiency and South Carolina licensure.

Details

• Work in an acute care hospital setting within the respiratory/neuro diagnostics department
• Night shifts with 3x12 hour schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• May need to float within scope to other sister facilities as needed
• Provide care to a diverse patient population in acute care
• Epic EMR system is used and experience is required

Requirements

• Valid South Carolina RRT license must be in hand at start (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory care experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and RRT (AHA only)
• Radiation badge required, must be supplied by candidate
• Experience with Epic EMR required
• Social Security card and Driver's License required for consideration

Additional Information

• Caribbean Blue scrubs are required
• Parking pass provided at badge pick-up with access to lots or garages
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Must be able to float to DT, NE, Fairfield, and Kershaw campuses if needed
• Modules must be completed prior to start
• Travelers may be assigned to emergency response during hurricane season (June-November)
• RTO must be submitted at time of application; more than 7 days or holidays require facility approval
• Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at a different rate
• Previous permanent staff must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler
