American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of pediatric, neonate, and infant experience for a night shift position in a Level 1 trauma teaching hospital.

Details

• Work in the pediatric respiratory therapy unit of a large teaching hospital
• Care for pediatric, neonatal, and infant patients
• Night shifts, 3x12s from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
• Holiday rotation and every other weekend required
• Floating within scope may be required, depending on experience
• EPIC is used for charting; prior experience preferred

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
• BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required (AHA only)
• Current South Carolina RCP license required; must be in hand at time of start (license required if applicable)
• NBRC certification accepted
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric, neonate, and infant experience required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Social Security Number and Driver's License required for consideration

Additional Information

• Magnet-designated hospital with Level 1 trauma status
• Caribbean Blue scrubs are required
• First-time travelers will be considered
• All RTO must be declared at the time of application; approval subject to unit needs
• Locals within 60 miles may be accepted at a lower rate, subject to HR approval
• Previous perm or PRN staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Pre-start online modules are required
• During hurricane season (June–November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
• Parking available for nights and weekends with a $20 one-time pass
